On our last sail of the season we had another sailboat recognize us. We felt like superstars!
One of our issues with keeping our boat in Cobourg is that you are on open water (Lake Ontario) and there’s no close place to anchor overnight. We recently discovered a spot close by.

We survived the storm in Belleville and now complete our journey, mostly motoring, back home to Cobourg through the Murray Canal.
We continued our journey home from the Thousand Islands, leaving Picton and heading towards the Murray Canal. We know there’s a good chance of a wind storm but we go anyways.
We stumbled across this beer called “Foghorn” in the liquor store and had to try it out!
We find out why anchoring at Halfmoon Bay was difficult and then spend the day at Little Bluff Conservation Area. That afternoon we head home via the more protected northern route, Adolphus Reach.
Today we get to feel all posh by anchoring our sailboat out in front of a winery and taking our inflatable to shore to meet up with some friends.
