Living on the boat for the Youth Learn to Sail program at Cobourg Yacht Club

We enrolled our kids into the Cobourg Yacht Club’s sailing program. And decided to live on the boat while they were taking the course. We thought it was an awesome way to take sailing lessons, living on a sailboat and… Continue Reading →

July in Cobourg

It’s been a fun month, we’ve had several guests out to our boat and have gone out for a few day sails. But the best part is always the dinner and the drinks back at dock.

New ropes for our Macgregor 26x

Thousand Islands – Adelaide

Our trip today has taken us to the Northern tip of Grenadier Island at an island called Adelaide. It was a quiet, but shallow anchorage. We enjoyed a few days here and was the most relaxing part of our trip.

Thousand Islands – Bridge

Our night at Mulcaster was nice. A few houseboats had rafted up on the dock next to us and a pack of other boys aged 4-13 swarmed the island. Our kids wanted to go out for an adventure on their… Continue Reading →
