We continued our journey to the Thousand Islands. Today we learn what a “chicken jibe” is and hide out from the lightning next to the windmills.
Our plan is to take the outside route on Lake Ontario to get to Waupoos and anchor near Half Moon Bay. Our plan failed at the first step of waking up early.
Food has been provisioned, bags have been packed, the boat has been prepared (mostly). We head to the boat the night before to get settled in and prepare to leave early the next morning.

Today is the day we bring Foggy back home to Cobourg Marina! Weather forecast was good, warm, sunny and a little bit of wind from the South moving to the East in late afternoon.
Foggy has been launched! Probably the most prepared we’ve ever been but it involved a lot of trips back and forth and made a few mistakes along the way.
We currently use portable batteries for charging our phones but with solar being installed I wanted to have easier access to power. Here’s an easy project to add some USB power to the v-birth.
